Located in the Horticulture Building the CNY
Waterways booth is manned by member volunteers.
The boat show runs for five (5) days (four
nights).
The reason CNY Waterways participates in the
boat show is to educate visitors about the Oswego River Drainage Basin and it's
problems including flooding and invasive species.
We also try to get new memberships.
This year we worked on getting signatures on
the petition to create the Oswego River Basin & the installation of the three
(3) flood control projects noted in the 1999 USAC study.
